Rey came to visit

My brother Rey came to visit for the weekend and stayed until Tuesday. We had a really fun time with him.

He was reading to Apryl her favorite color book.

We got Apryl a new pink dress, doesn't she looks so cute on it. :-)

Bowling in Mesquite

Apryl and I went to Mesquite with my friends from work. Forrest couldn't come because he was working.

Apryl was really tired after bowling...lol.

It was Rosy's first time bowling, she did really good.

Halloween Decorations

I am really excited fot this upcoming Halloween, because it will be Apryl's first Halloween. I was in the mood to decorate our apartment, so here they are some of our Halloween decorations. I am still going to add some cobwebs and pumpkins.

New sweaters from Bolivia

On monday was a little cold so Apryl was trying on her new winter outfits which my aunts who lived in Bolivia knitted for her.

My aunt Ruth knitted the shoes and the socks.

Apryl's 4 months doctor visit

Here is mommy and Apryl at the doctor's office.

She weighed 13 lbs. 4 oz.

Her head measured 39 cm.

She was just being a silly girl talking on the phone with Grandma Eli, like I do all the time.

We went to visit Grandma Colleen and Jacob. Grandma Colleen got for her house a new swing and a playpen for Apryl.

Apryl's ear piercing

We went to the Mall with our friend Rosy to have Apryl's ear pierced. It was hard to see her cry, but she was really strong and now she looks really cute with earings on.

Before the piercing, she didnt know what was happening.

Here is the girl from the store marking her ears, it had to be right in the middle.

Here she is after the piercing, she was a little mad at me.

I chose the 14kt white gold pink flower.

Trying on new outfits and new hair styles

We were just having fun trying new outfits, Apryl was smiling the whole time. I also tryed different hair styles, her hair is so soft which makes it so hard to hold it with hairclips. She is a cutie.

Womens Conference 2008

On Saturday, we went to the Womens Conference with Aunt Sarah and Grandma Colleen. I took just a few pictures while we waited in line for our food. Apryl was the star of the day, everyone wanted to hold her and show her off. There was a cute grandma who offered to hold Apryl while we ate our food. She had a lot of fun being held by a bunch of new grandmas.

Apryl's first picnic

We went to have our first picnic with Apryl at the park She loves to play with Daddy
It was a nice day to be outside.
After eating and playing Forrest and Apryl took a nap
She enjoyed being on the grass

It was the first time that Apryl was happy laying on her tummy. She usually cries , but not today... she was happy.

She went down by herself, well... with a little help from mommy.

Then we walked through the tunnel.

She was smiling for Daddy all day long. We had the best time at the park.
